Our first VOCALOID Videos Ranking on Youtube !!!!

Heyya! How're you guys doing?! It's been a long time since we last post something on V.V, so to celebrate our returns, we decided to make a list of music videos that we both agreed on because we really love them. Please enjoy~
So, about this post, there are 5 top songs that listed in order and 1 extra video. One of the 6 is 18 + so please be considerated before watching it (but I don't think it will be the problem)....

1/ Left Behind The City by Hatsune Miku:



This song is about the girl who lost her way of living and unemotionally. But finally, she has found her true light...


2/ Mosaic Roll by Gumi :



Oh my gosh! You can't imagine how we love the art style and the song! Deco* 27 really did the great job this time. It's very smooth, the animation-wise although the are just mere paper that made into a video but this is a work of art.

3/ Just Be Friends by Megurine Luka:



No comment on this one. Epic! We have loved this one for a long time since our first stepping in Vocaloid's World.

4/ Monochrome ∞ Blue Sky by Hatsune Miku:



Whenever you're feeling down, just look up at the blue sky because this is what this song is about.
( Really love the art work! )

5/ Romeo and Cinderella by Hatsune Miku (18+):



This is a very famous song, one of the best songs in the album "Best Impact" that got the fourth place in the Oricon chart ranking (The famous chart in Japan, Korean and some other countries). Now that it has been made into 3D, we can experienced the epicness and coolness of the song!


That's all for the ranking! Let's move to the bonus ones. These two are also our favorite and rather old:

BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER by Hatsune Miku:

"Wish to the Star that runs through the Darkness". This is the song's motto!
About this song, it has quite a long history.Black Rock Shooter- the name of the girl in this PV, from just a drawing of her, the music band wrote a song for her using Miku's voice. Good smile Company- a figurine company turn her into the most famous figure that had been the turning-point of her reputation. Then fans love Black Rock Shooter, love the video and made it into 3D PV. The producer studio, took inspiration from the 3D and an anime about BRS was born...

Something about Hatsune Miku

Hello everyone!!!

We both like Hatsune Miku so we decided to write about her.

She is the first one in Vocaloid2 Character Vocal Series, 31/8/2007. Her name is Hatsu (初, First), Ne (音, Sound), and Miku (未来, Future). Voice dat of Miku take from Saki Fujita- 1 seiyuu. Vocaloid is a software. The software is tuned to create J-pop songs commonly heard in anime, but it is possible to create songs from other genres.

Hatsune Miku  is a Virtual Idol in Japan. Here is some of her pics, fan draw maybe.

On April 30, 2010, an updated version of Miku called Hatsune Miku Append was released containing a package of six different tones of Miku's voice: Soft (gentle, delicate voice), Sweet (young,chibi voice), Dark (mature, heartbroken-like voice), Vivid (bright, cheerful voice), Solid (loud, clear voice), and Light (innocent, heavenly voice).

A little about "The lost Symbol"

Hello everyone, I'm Vicky. I'm a fan of Dan Brown. Now, I'll write somthing about his latest book: The lost Symbol.

Just like "Angels and Demons", "The Davinci code", this novel is about Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon. All of the story happened in about 12 hours in Washington D.C. He is summoned to give a lecture at the United States Capitol, with the invitation apparently from his mentor Peter Solomon. When Langdon arrives at the Capitol, however, he learns that the invitation he received was not from Solomon, but from Solomon's kidnapper, so he had to find 5 symbol to rescue Peter. And the story open. 

 It's the best seller book in this decade. If I tell anything to you guy, you won't interest in it anymore. So I think you should buy one and read. Maybe, you'll thanks me for telling you this book... :D

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA 2 - ~Opening trailer review ~

So, like most Vocaloid fans know that the PSP game called "Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA" made by SEGA, which we play along with Vocaloid's music was a great success in Japan, right? (I got this game a month ago when my mama visited Japan). ~And now~ SEGA has released a preview of the Opening video for the new game "Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA 2'' and this is the first time they decided to make a whole OP with the Full song !!! The video was coming out recently and features not only Hatsune Miku (CV01) but also Kagamine Rin/Len (CV02) and Megurine Luka (CV03). The OP was really something. It's just too amazing!.. The OP music was “こっち向いて Baby” (Kocchi Muite Baby, Come this way Baby) composed by "ryo" from "Supercell" as we know that they're famous for using Vocaloid as their main singers and made some popular songs like Black Rock Shooter, World is Mine,...etc... Back to the main point... As you can see, this video was made 3D! That's its greatest thing I loved when watching this trailer.  Here's the video. ~Enjoy!~...




~Amazing isn't it, the Animation and song-wise ~... This video shows us the very active Miku not like the one in the last OP of "Project DIVA". Not only that, she is joined in together with Kagamine Rin and Len who plays the standard guitar and bass guitar respectively, Megurine Luka also joined in as the drummer when they all form a music band for the school's music club (I think). In normal shool uniform, Miku is a lovely high school girl and she found Kagamine Rin who is also a very energetic student and has a quite good looking twin brother names Kagamine Len. Luka was added as their teacher or something like club's director. Unlike the previous game which plays a shorter version of the song, “The Secret Garden”, the 2nd one plays at a more energetic note and so-called allow players to listen to the cool song composed by “Ryo” himself..

I love the way little Hachune Miku (chibi Miku) appears along with our tiny Octopus Tako Luka (they're deadly adorable!)...Another thing to note is that Miku, Luka and the twins are very detailed here. Hope this might be the "Dreamy Theater" (play on PS3) artwork, too.

Testing...testing...1,2,3... First VOCALOID song's impression...

So first of, I want to introduce to you guys this great Vocaloid song that Vick and I found not long ago. This is for our first post on V.V (for "Vocaloid VickHo") ~enjoy~:

"HIKARI" by "Hatsune Miku & Hatsune Mikuo" :




Firstly, this is the best duet song between Miku and Mikuo I've ever listened to. It is done by a nico (Nico Nico Douga) user by the name "Y" (shirikire/ariaP )  and he (she) also done the music, video and illustration...

The beginning of the song was quite melodic and deep with Mikuo's voice. This shows how well composed both the lyrics and music are. And Miku really makes the song upbeat in the near middle part when she sung along with Mikuo, their voices fit perfectly well. The way the song playing really makes you feel happy. But it's quite a sad end because Miku has got a new update so Mikuo being deleted or something like that. (This happens quite similar to "The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku" which we would show you on the next post).


About the Artwork itself, it's quite emotional although the animation is a little bit rigid but kinda interesting the way "Y" show how close Miku and Mikuo are....

We're the VOCALOIDism !!!

Hey~everyone! Nice to meet you there. This is our first time writing a blog so if there are anything that we did wrong, please feel free to comment and correct us.
Our name are Vicky and Karen ( you can call me Ho-chan). We are both 14 years old and have the same hobby : MANGA and ANIME. Vicky also likes football, but Ho-chan has a very hyperactive personally and easy to get crazy when talking about M,A (Manga, Anime) and Vocaloid stuffs,...etc...

So about our blog, with the same hobbies, we decided to make an OTAKU blog. But the main articles are OST, M,A and of course the most important, VOCALOID songs and some marginal things (like English novel and football but we are not sure we would post them in the future). If we got something out, we will definitely post them here, along with our impression about those which we post. Also we will always update news so you guys can catch up with.
